About Nanci

Nanci Schneidinger has been teaching Early Childhood Music classes in the Bay Area since 1999.

She grew up in a musical family, and feels blessed that her two children, Julia and David, have reaped the same benefits. They have both sung in choirs throughout school and play a variety of instruments. David sang for nine years in the Pacific Boychoir and will start his junior year of college in the Fall, and Julia is graduating from college this year.

Nanci has sung vocals in rock bands and studio recordings, and she has also been involved in classical choirs and musical theater. She had the honor of performing Fiddler on the Roof with the Piedmont Light Opera Theater in 1999.

Nanci has a BA in Consumer and Family Sciences (Child Development) and a minor in music from California State Long Beach. She co-chaired the Children's Music Network Conference in Los Gatos, CA in 2013. She has been a member of the Oakland Symphony Chorus since 2008. She continues to further her education by attending workshops and reading publications on music's impact on the brain during childhood.

Nanci feels very fortunate to have this occupation, bringing the love of music to so many families in the Bay Area and seeing how it changes lives for the better! She is committed to providing a unique and exciting early childhood music experience to you and your children, integrating the latest professional techniques into her curriculum.
